What Makes Me Different

I use a kind, calm, and gentle approach in working with clients. I have suffered from OCD and social anxiety disorder in my own life. I have been able to overcome these conditions through hard work and perseverance. I have worked with specialized therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists to improve my mental health.

I have also gone through different treatment programs including The Anxiety Treatment Center of Sacramento and Rogers Behavioral Health. I have read some of the foremost OCD books including “The OCD workbook” and “Freedom from OCD.” I have extensive academic experience learning about different mental health issues including

anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, psychosis, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, and marital/couples issues. I have extensive professional experience treating OCD and social anxiety disorder and utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy. I specialize in utilizing exposure and response prevention, systematic desensitization, and thought reframing.

What makes me different is that I come prepared to every session and attempt to give you the most value for your money. I want to see you get better in a reasonable amount of time and strongly value every client’s progress. I keep a record of sessions with progress notes that protect your confidentiality.

I utilize my experience and knowledge to provide you with tools and skills to help you progress in your treatment. I work with my clients collaboratively to come up with a personalized treatment plan and will regularly assess your progress in meeting your goals. I want to give you a toolbox of skills so that you

can manage your condition independently. A lot of therapists just do talk therapy and take your money after listening to you for an hour. I want to make sure you get better every week and that you have the tools to manage on your own.
